A new cleanup update has been posted covering the recent Vault rework, rank changes, policy cleanup, and theme polish.
The goal is to make LC cleaner, easier to understand, and safer for the site going forward.

Don't know at this point. There's no scheduled release date for 0.8 public. There's no scheduled release date yet for the 0.9 for supporters. It's written, just not imaged or animated. RL has been kicking my ass in 2025 so far.
If so, it might help to delete the MacOS build output folder entirely and try again to make sure no compiled output from that build is still hanging around.

Is there an option in the compiler for a "clean build" or "full rebuild"? Something like that could help. You could also try deleting all the .rpyc files in the folder, that should force it to generate everything again.

I've not seen those options. There is a recompile to create new .rpyc files, but that is only necessary in the compiling program itself while it is being tested. When the actual build of the game is done, it goes through and does a complete recompile as the first part of the building process.
If I get some time this weekend, I'll try to do a fix. However, I do not have a MAC machine or emulator or whatever to test it.
Dear Cynist, considering the other game you've developed is available on the other site do you plan to release it here too? As I dont think I've seen it attached to your name and after trying out Ne'do'wells, I can say that it's quite intriguing.

I'm working on it. Admittedly, it's been slow. I wrenched my back yesterday so laid up right now. I'll likely be showing some 0.9 previews to subs in the next week. There's no set dates for anything yet.
I wish I had the ability to work on it full-time. Recently thought I'd have more time, but that notion got fucked right in the ass. It is possible I will release it next week, and if not it will be on the 23rd. Depends on how much "real" work I have to do.
