Another amazing release :)

Great job @cynist on making a fun story with a cast of great characters, that can make the audience feel something other than just lust(not to say you won't spend a good amount of time in that state while playing heh).

I wish this was in Daz. I can somewhat undersatnd starving artists using HS2 since that doesn't require Nvidia hardware, but why Koikatsu? That's even worse than HS.

I don't like the look of Daz. Clay creatures with horrible face expressions. I'm also someone that can get very impatient, and even with a good card, Daz can take many minutes to render one image that then has to go through post processing. My first attempts have been in Koikatsu because it's a good beginning. It's allowed me to learn some about graphic artistry and "directing" - putting characters in certain poses, camera angles, and subject matter.

While I want my projects to look good, I'm not hung up on making it look closer to "real life". Personally, I'm happy with what I've been able to do with Libertine.

Thanks for the feedback. Sorry you don't like it.

I prefer Koikatsu and HS to Daz, I guess the more stylized visuals make the characters more interesting and I can count on one hand the number of Daz games with good animations.

Just a noob comment, I started playing only realistic 3d VN's since this is what I really liked, then I tried hand drawn and other styles, basically anything with 4 or 5 stars, and I've realized that I love them all, it wasn't necessarily the realism of the artwork, but the story and writing, the ability of the artist to immerse me into a world they created, that's what really did it for me anyways. Basically, like comparing a Van Goh to a De Gas.

The anxiety and paranoia building slow start of this game is so good. It's the "up" of porn games imo. I doubt anything will ever beat the first 15 minutes if this game.

Replayd with 0.7 out here, and start of the game still gave me the chills.

The realm of adult VNs is rather wide and varied. Everyone has their quirks, whether they be style, substance, or simply what sexual genres it has. Not everyone is going to like the "art" I make, but those that do like the same things I do... and that makes for a great fanbase/developer dynamic.

In other words, if you're a Star Wars fanatic, it's much more fun to nerd out with other Star Wars fans.

No change log?
The change log was only typed out on ATF prior to it going down so... there wasn't a copy to transfer over to LC. I'll try to remember what it had...

* Full Chapter 7 story.
* Medium-length update.
* Content with Shelby (by decision).
* Content with Isla (by decision).
* Content with Bunny.
* Feels Level 5 (no joke)
* A secret gift at the end...

Wonderful update, @cynist!! :love: I loved it, keep up the great work!(y)

Question: is v0.1 of Ne'er Do Wells the only one you're doing a public release or eventually it'll happen like with Libertine with some older version made public while advancing with the ones for supporters?

Eventually, both Ne'er Do Wells and Sitter will be released publicly. It is likely to be a long while... at least until after Libertine is finished and I'm onto the next story. The idea of these two is to encourage people to support. I'm hoping this is going to be a "real job" and I can focus 100% on developing, and I need supporters for that to happen.

It's still undecided as to how they will be released but they will, eventually, be released in full.

Thank you so much for your reply! :) Sure, I totally understand and agree with you, and hopefully you'll be able to achieve making a proper steady income from developing! :D

...In the meanwhile please get out my head! o_OYour games are so much tailored on my tastes, between Libertine and NDW you basically got all of them checked:ROFLMAO:(y)

Heh. I created both Sitter and NDW due to certain desires sometimes creeping into Libertine. When I've swung heavy into sh0ta, I will work more on Sitter so it doesn't leak into Lib. Same with incest and very open relationships in NDW.

Shouldn't this have swinging tags? by the PSA alone it sound like a free for all.
Sure he denied NTR but he can't deny that it isn't swinging/sharing content.

I agree it would fall under the category of "sharing". Not so sure about "swinging". If this is that big of a deal, then you probably should message/tag the thread owner so they can make the changes you feel need to be done.

Aye. Supposed to report the thread. But will look into it more and see what's appropriate.

It depends, some devs just really love Koikatsu while others can't afford or just don't see a reason to splurge on a gaming PC. I personally would've loved to work with VAM but Koikatsu is the only thing my 12year old PC can handle without falling apart.

My system would be able to handle DAZ, at least as well as an average game dev. The more I've heard about working with it, though, the more I feel I made the better choice for me. KK is not for everyone. There's some janky things about it. I'm comfortable and happy using it.
