Let's relax for a bit.

A walk usually does the trick perfectly given that the weather isn't high 90s+. Other than that just regular hobbies & jacking off.

I like to cook and come up with new dishes of various types - well, new to me using techniques or ingredients/seasonings I haven't used before. Like to meld things from different cultures that have commonalities - similar ingredients/similar seasonings, but not exactly the same and not dishes you'd see on a menu at a restaurant for one or the other.

Likewise. I'm into Central Asian and partly Far Eastern culinary specialties. Meat, fish, seafood open up incredible scope for imagination.
And my wife is a master at making all sorts of salads.

Salad? Seafood? Asian?

I'd like to order a tako salad, please - extra sprinkle of sansho. ;)

Latin American cuisine is not popular in our area (absolutely). Asia is closer to us, and as an example of an alternative to standard fast food, I can mention shawarma (I really like it with lamb).

That was Asian - Japanese to be precise. "Tako" is the "English" version of the Japanese term for octopus. It's funnier in the US when you have most people thinking "taco" rather than what I was actually suggesting. I've seen it several ways but it's one of my favorite styles of preparation for the octopus. Maybe one could do some "interesting" knife work and make an "Octopussy" salad.

I ride a bike, go to the forest, or walk with a camera and photograph wildlife.

Live and learn forever, and you'll die a fool, as our people say. I didn't know it.
I was sure a taco was this:

Let me educate y'all, then:
These are more traditional - there are also types using a hard corn shell formed by frying.

Takes many ingredients commonly found in a "taco" and builds a salad in a bowl, in this case a bowl formed by frying a flour tortilla in hot oil. This one includes beef fajita meat and guacamole. ;)

"Tako" is the name for octopus in sushi restaurants. The octopus is marinated with rice wine vinegar, soy, and mixed with various ingredients, including seaweed, ginger, sometimes red onion and often cucumber, made spicy using ground dried sansho, thinly sliced hot peppers, and freshly grated wasabi. I hate cucumber, so I get it without.

Thanks for info!

Daydreaming is my goto for relaxing (if I have the time for it).

Sitting back and watching a fun comedy on tv.
Then playing some games.

Either cooking, or playing games. Sometimes rock climbing or disc golfing.
