A walk usually does the trick perfectly given that the weather isn't high 90s+. Other than that just regular hobbies & jacking off.
Likewise. I'm into Central Asian and partly Far Eastern culinary specialties. Meat, fish, seafood open up incredible scope for imagination.I like to cook and come up with new dishes of various types - well, new to me using techniques or ingredients/seasonings I haven't used before. Like to meld things from different cultures that have commonalities - similar ingredients/similar seasonings, but not exactly the same and not dishes you'd see on a menu at a restaurant for one or the other.

And my wife is a master at making all sorts of salads.
Latin American cuisine is not popular in our area (absolutely). Asia is closer to us, and as an example of an alternative to standard fast food, I can mention shawarma (I really like it with lamb).Salad? Seafood? Asian?

That was Asian - Japanese to be precise. "Tako" is the "English" version of the Japanese term for octopus. It's funnier in the US when you have most people thinking "taco" rather than what I was actually suggesting. I've seen it several ways but it's one of my favorite styles of preparation for the octopus. Maybe one could do some "interesting" knife work and make an "Octopussy" salad.Latin American cuisine is not popular in our area (absolutely). The octopus is marinated with rice wine vinegar, soy, and mixed with various ingredients, including seaweed, ginger, sometimes red onion and often cucumber, made spicy using ground dried sansho, thinly sliced hot peppers, and freshly grated wasabi. I hate cucumber, so I get it without.
