i forced this specific thread once, it is to let everyone know the approach of the current state of the site, if i did not and only made a site wide notice no one would pay any attention to it, ive already put that theory to the test, also sorry if i came off offensive been a long day.

I aint the sharpest lightbulb when it comes to the technical stuff, so if someone could dumb down what all of this results in for me, that would be nice. What I understand is something broke/corrupted on the backend, only fix was to wipe all threads, but otherwise everything is (mostly) functioning? Aside from the threads being gone, its business as usual for now?

Not the point. The whole forced thread thing is just annoying. Admin can figure this shit out without always forcing us in the loop.

You click one extra button then refresh the page, not like you have to read it if you don't want to. Its not that big of a deal.

I support archiving the current site at that new url and starting over fresh. I echo all the people saying that the admins are damned if they do and damned if they don't. If people want to repopulate images and pictures of games that haven't been touched in years they can go for it. They can go out to their content creators and get them to come back with new updates, new images, a refresh on what is out there. We might even get some folks who want to now be "uploaders" or "content moderators" to take on the task. Hell make it a Bounty System and award people 10x coins, tokens, or whatever is out there. Make it a game, people love games, that's why we are all here aren't we?

This is bad news however it's not the end times nor is it catastrophic. this is a massive inconvenience to us all and by the end of Q2/26 this 'digital spring cleaning' will do this place good.
