Yep overpriced but I'll probably still get one. I'm currently on iPhone 8 so need an upgrade soon. Maybe wait for a while until the price comes down after release.

Back on topic: China and Korea have been pumping out products American companies cannot compete with. My current phone has a true 108 megapixel camera, 2 tb hard drive, and 22 gigs of ram...

Well the 15 finally got USB so I would consider it.

I had an android and was looking forward to going all lightening chargers when I got the iphone15. Well.... now I have USB-C for my personal phone, lightening for my work iphone and my airpods. I was able to get my wife USB-C airpods so she only has one charger.

1. There are still only rumors about the iPhone 16
2. Which platform do you prefer or which phone do you want to switch from? If you prefer iOS and you have iPhone 12-13 or older then i would think about it if there was an official announcement with specifications and everything.. Otherwise no. (it would be time for the basic models to have at least a 90 Hz display instead of 60 Hz...)

I just made the switch from android to iphone with the 15, partially because of the USB-C, but mostly because I don't care enough anymore about the "freedom" that android offers. I realized after I didn't do a new launcher for my last galaxy, or really do anything that an iPhone doesn't allow. Plus, it has imessage so I can actually participate in group chats, and talk to my wife at work without using FB messenger.
That said, from the rumors, the 16 is just gonna be a slight upgrade, if anything just optimized for AI- so if THAT'S important to you, get it? Otherwise, wait for it come out and get a 15 for cheaper.

*eta* really, top my head the only thing I did before that I couldn't do now is play nutaku apps, and frankly I need a reason not to put my time and money into them anyway
