I don't know what is happening to me lately but i feel the burnout ,you know i play lot of games like baldurs gate 3 , resident evil , elden ring ,black myth wukong, csgo2 u name it .

I play like hours and hours but now i probaly lasted like 1 hours++ and suddenly feeling bored

So i decided to go out and visiting a friend and playing together and it's still the same

Maybe because I'm playing games since a child and now I'm 24 yr idk :/
Or maybe games nowdays not fun because they added politics and woke shit

Maybe you just havent found the right game. Or maybe ur just getting older and games feel less interesting. hard to say. I felt like u a couple of times as well. but im in my thirties and i still game frequently - but with breaks now and then. Try a break and see how u feel - maybe u just playing because its the defeault. Maybe without games u will be forced to find something else to do u will end up enjoying more.

with regards to "woke shit" - which games have fun and engaging gameplay but is so woke u cant enjoy them?

Everything gets dull when you burn yourself out on it. Take some time away from gaming, do a little more of something else for a while. See if you're more interested when you come back to it.

If not- well, sometimes our tastes do change.

I had a similar moment then I branched out to other franchies, Persona,Neptunia , Namco's "Tales Of " and Phantasy Star Online 2.
In other words play a game because YOU WANT TO not because the "cools kids said". I cant tell you what you enjoy but go look, I'm sure you find something YOU will enjoy if someone ses other wise for you enjoying said game YOU like FUCK THEM

It's still the same , i have ps1 all the way to ps5 some nintendos some xbox and pc
so what's wrong with me

Find another hobby or take a break.
If you want to continue you could branch out to games outside of your normal comfort zone and see what you think.

Maybe some simulator and VR?

It has nothing to do with age though, a lot of people are way older than you and they are still playing games. There was a game I used to play many years ago that supposedly had a 96? year old player, imagine that.

A lot of modern games do feel like they are incomplete, buggy and still more expensive than ever, especially when you add in the DLC bullshit. I'm still a gamer but I don't really play many new games, I stick to the ones that I personally enjoy.

In the end it's all about you, if you don't enjoy playing then you don't have to.

the gaming market is oversaturated compared to the past. when i started playing videogames in the 90ies their wasnt multiple blockbusters every month. games are also becoming more and more generic. it feels like im playing the same games over and over again with just new skins and textures.
yes, gaming is less fun nowadays.

I think the problem is studios chasing money instead of quality games. RDR2, Cyberpunk after it was fixed, Baldurs Gate, and games of that caliber were made because the teams that made them are passionate and trying to make a universe for us to get lost in. EA, Activision, Sony, etc. has just gone to shit because they're trying to get as much cash out of games as possible. Games that are not fapping worthy or passion projects of the teams that made them just aren't worth my time anymore because they're trying to do the minimum they can to get $70 out of people. Most stuff on steam is indie studio copies of other indie studios. The only thing I play consistently anymore is mine craft and league. Maybe cyber punk or something if I get bored, but I agree with you, stuff has gotten stale.

In the past most games were unique and those with good controls became common standards. Today most games share the same controls, the same mechanics and the same concepts in the story, you mostly play the hero. Okay, today we often have to make sacrifices, are forced to save one or the other, we even can play neutral or "evil", but in the end its still always the same. Every 4x genre has the same goal, every rpg has the same goal, ...every game has the same goal depending on its genre.
And that is the main point that allows you to become bored even when playing a completely new game with a more or less unique story and interesting characters.
My suggestion, take a break and play a little real life. The story sucks and back buttons/save/load/console are missing, but at least it has decent graphics and intuitive controls, just try to avoid bad ends.

No talk about politics or woke crap on the forums. Any more and I will delete the thread.

You can always play older games. I'm sure there's a series you missed. I find myself playing fewer modern games and replaying some of my favorites or even trying out games I just never got around to playing.

Overstimulated most likely, try mixing something that requires effort and has no immediate dopemine gain, like walking, creative stuff like drawing / painting, working out (to an extent), reading a book. If you get bored immediately at least you know what the problem is.

you seem burned out. Happened to me, games don't feel meaningful.

That may be because you are not doing anything like going to work etc. so you can look forward to play BG3.

Also spend less time on social media. It is making us unhappy, period.

I feel the same way honestly. I think it's depression hitting though. The highs are never that high anymore and using games isn't satisfactory

You can see it not as burnout but actually as getting old. Because I went through the same times, I used to be more interested in Marvel movies, but now I watch more dramatic movies. When I was a kid and not old, the fantasy world felt very precious and special when I spent time in a virtual reality with unreal superheroes or armies with gun games, but as time goes by, reality and the real world can be more special and intriguing. I think you should slowly put your computer in its box and put it in the garage and spend a lot more time in the real world.

i am old school gamer there was no p2w crap back then for me p2w gaming what destroy the purpose of gaming try to find 100% free to play game.
