I'm getting bored of playing and replaying some of the same "old" games that I really like. I am looking for new games, stuff that's come up within the last year or so, stuff that is either currently still in development or complete.

What has come out in the last ~12 months or so that you recommend?

I like Visual Novels, they're fine.

I'm open to lots of games, but the system I play them on is fairly slow so mostly RenPy games run fine but some of the more complex Unity games run slow or poorly.

I like lots of different games, but generally:


* No Sandbox-style games - I find them tedious.
* No grindy games.
* No "slow burn" games that take hours before you see any action at all.
* Not gay or bi

Some of my favorite games:

* Sisterly Lust
* Such a Sharp Pain
* The Guardian
* Summertime Saga (before the re-code)
* Corrupted Love
* Not A World for Alyssa
* Mid-Life Crisis

Wait, what happened to Summertime Saga?

The dev is re-coding the entire thing now and it breaks old saves plus he's only like 1/20th of the way through the game again so you can't really play the "new" version yet either. The glacial pace he's following makes it kind of obnoxious to try and re-play or play-through it again tbh.

House of Hearts is by far the game I'm most excited to play right now.

Its the sequel to Game of Hearts, which is imo the best adult game to come out in years, and House of Hearts just had its first release a month or so ago and looks to continue the super high quality of the first game.

Game of Hearts has by far the best sex scenes in any adult game I've played, the game has top tier renders, and has models that fit a variety of body styles while still being super sexy

the blackheart games are good but just a bit too dark for me. In the shadows of ashwood looks like it will be fantastic and i agree with the previous mention, also boxed in was good too.

Awesome, thank you so much! Great list. I've played the goosenards and elfieeven games - fantastic stuff on both counts. Hadn't heard of some of the others will try them out.
