I prefer a better story or scenes than the gameplay, in this type of games is hard to do a fun type of gameplay, usually is too grindy or it makes the game too bothersome.

I enjoy where there is abit of gameplay but nothing challenging, some light sandbox with easy quests, like on of my favorite games Desert Stalker is a perfect example.

Gameplay is the most important part of a game, but this doesnt always translate well in adult games. Two extremes can be present from what I saw, either 0 gameplay, which is fine if renders are good, we are generally here for good and nice models, or other side is barely anything lewd and full RPGM do a quest in 10s on other side of the map for 5 coins. Gameplay needs to be fun no matter the lewd prize at the end, or at least feel like it has some purpose if you get that invested into the characters or story.

So in short, yeah gameplay is important, but bad gameplay is tolerable if renders are THAT good.

Kind of depends. Usually the games that have actually gameplay, the gameplay is kind of janky, so I'd almost prefer less gameplay

Personally I don't care about the gameplay. I think we all know why we're playing these games, it ain't for the combat or RPG elements.
I do appreciate when the devs are a little more creative than just point and click though, that always gets my attention

I dislike VN's and renpy's garbage. Waste of coding time. I love gameplay with lots of sex scenes, especially if you can avoid them or at least choose not being forced to get fucked.
Gallery and CG's are always available online on the hentai sites. So it doesn't bother me much, but there are hidden gems which are rare and you have grind them to get the cherry!

I prefer for the game to be fun, but most adult games aren’t focused on the gameplay and I can enjoy a good visual novel. Even a kinetic novel is fine with me as long as the story is good.

If you are going to call it a game at least have the 'player' make some kind of contribution. The thing I hate most is when all I do is click the next button for the entire 'game'. If dialogue goes on for too long, I will us the auto otption and do something else. A few time Ive done this and, when I check back in with the game, it's gone through the entire chapter and is back at the main menu. The game is completely over and I didn't do a damn thing.

Yeah, that's actually a kinetic novel, which is NOT a game. Here it will have "KN" somewhere so you know not to bother if you aren't interested in that.

Huh? Of course a game is better than a kinetic novel. KN is utter shit. If I didn't want input into what happens, I'd watch porn. Much better graphics.
