discussion Is gameplay important to you?

Don't care that much if the gameplay is good. Good gameplay is always welcomed and highly regarded, but not that crucial. When on the other hand the terrible gameplay ruins the hell out of the playability of the game.

Depends on the style of the game, in some cases good gameplay can be quite beneficial. I dont really like the turn based combat rpgm style games, that have useless, rudementary combat that doesnt really add anything to the game itself, just pads out the playtime.

For me personally, gameplay is very important. Otherwise, it would be easier to download regular porn videos/movies from torrent trackers, and there is a huge selection of them.

Look, if I download a porn game, I'm doing it for the porn.

Of course there's stuff like Karryn's Prison that can actually combine a engaging gameplay with the porn, which makes it all better. But do it so well executed like that it's rare.

I don't mind if the dev tries some stuff, like a point system, to make the sex scenes feel more like a reward. But sometimes it feels like they are just trying to make up for little content with obnoxious grindind and / or minigames.

It just depends on my mood and how much time i have. Sometimes i want to take it easy and i don't even bother opening the game, just extract the images with UnRen (this ofc applies only to Renpy games). Other days i might spend hours grinding a game nonstop, then the gameplay definitely matters. For example i like the gameplay of "Pizza Girl" so i am willing to play it through if im in the mood. Then there is "Sinstory", which is barely playable even though alot of the tags appeal to me. So yes i would say the gameplay matters.

I do love myself a good gameplay, not the RPG one that I loathe, but implementations like Null's Hypotesis, Man of the House, Akabur's games etc, are quite well made.

If the gameplay is bad, then gameplay is important because then it just sucks to play because it detracts from the game. If it is decent or good, then it really doesn't matter, because I'm not there for the gameplay.

I actually like some kind of progression in my games so I prefer sandboxes, when they are well done: a bit of grind. but not too much. some type of search for progress, but with built in walkthrough/hint system and good story ofc
