It's in my Christmas movie lineup so I count it as a Christmas movie. Also, every time I watch it is like giving myself a gift, so there's that too.

Hear me out. Die hard is like the grinch. You have Severus Snape trying to steal Christmas from Whoville tower and Brucey lou willis comes in to change his mind. In the end after lots of persuasion Snape has a change of heart and gives back all the Christmas. Some say his heart grew 3 bullets that day

Also, last time I watched it I kept thinking about the Rick and Morty episode where Summer "did a Die Hard", which just consisted of her shouting DIE HARD and shooting from the 2nd floor

It depends on your definition.

1-If Christmas Movie means a traditional feel good story about values etc... set during Christmas... then no.

2-If Christmas Movie means any movie that's set during Christmas... then yes.

And since 2- is easier to define than 1-, I pick yes.
