I've looked at a few and they make no sense to me. Maybe that's what's required for Devs in certain countries, but they should just stay in those countries and leave the rest of the world be.

funny enough ppl in jp download overseas uncensored game since there game isnt allowed to be censored but outside of jp its fine. this is a reason some companies lose money because jp ppl dont buy the game from them but buy it outside of jp. i would say give it some years and (or dacades jp is quiet stuborn with changes.) and i think censoreship law will get losen because it loses them money.

Just remembered - there's a classic Japanese movie 愛のコリーダ (Ai no korōda), it came out in 1976. It had quite mainstream actors having close-up sex. In Japan, the movie had problems, the director spent 4 years in court, but we had it in the full uncensored version. You can find it on torrents in this version.
This is to say that Japanese law is indeed hopelessly behind the times, and its war for “decency” resembles a battle with windmills.

my problem is less the censoreship of images, videos and stuff witch jp dose alot. my problem is censoreship of content story and other stuff. i dislike if they make a relationship from siblings to step sibling. or change the age of characters. or just chance simple words like kill. and thats more a problem outside of jp.

It depends, there are games that remove the scenes but add stories in exchange, that is fine and i accept it, but if they only remove the scene then it is very stupid

i think my country dosent censore stuff that much actually. but i consume stuff worldwide. so it natural i run into censore problems that way. as example if you want to watch anime. then crunchyroll is a bad option because they tent to censore stuff. pirate sites(depending on the site) dont.

Thankfully, I don't watch anime or spend money on hentai. I don't like japanese visuals.

I feel that every time I see a jp game with the tags I like, and then seeing censored, I just hope and pray that there's a decensor patch or something. It just bums me out. They can still be playable, but it depends on how much you enjoy the game outside of the censoring

I'd honestly like to see that, Japan already has a really big and effective market when it comes to adult stuff. Not to mention there are so many talented artists and removal of that law would lead to super high quality stuff

I'm assuming most censored games are just as playable as most uncensored games. They accept keyboard and mouse inputs like any other game. So the playability should not be affected at all.

Now, would I want to play a censored game? Hell no!
