I dont want to see it destroyed by the stupid modern way of things like a know it all shota scout spamming notifications, and an e xcessive self indulging. But FFX would be The game.
Xenogears or Xenosaga. Both were incredible, yet unfinished. Xenogears lost its budget by disc 2 and Xenosaga was supposed to be 6 games when we only got 3.
Usually i dislike remakes but Tokyo jungle feels like such a hidden gem that came out too soon
it's a rogue like where you unlock different animals to survive in a ruined city this just feels like a game that'd be massively popular since so many rogue likes have been popular (also it'd fit a bit with stray considering animal in ruined city vibes even if the actual game play is rather different)
also might've helped it wouldn't be stuck on ps3 online store that is defunct (also wish gravity rush/sly cooper would get PC ports)
Oh man, there are so many that I wish would be brought back, especially from the PS2, Draken Guard 1 and 2, Trapt, Devil Kings, Shadow Hearts, God Hand, digimon world 1-4, so many amazing titles that could do with some love.
Castlevania Judgement on the Wii was also really fun too.
If we are talking PC most older games people actually know about still work, maybe with a bit of fiddling or with dgvoodoo2 or some mod/patch.
Games that take advantage of remakes the most are console exclusives that never had a PC launch, like what Killing Time and POed got last few years.
Another big one is older 3rd person games with tank controls that can be remastered with a normal camera. Legacy of Kain defiance, Resident evil remakes etc all got this and its an insane improvement. So something like Enslaved: Odyssey to the west, Resident evil 1 and other survival horror tank control games would probably be my choice.
A good remake of the games like Jet Set Radio or Midnight Club LA, would be awesome, but i know that the studios are gonna butcher it if they try to remake them
If the content wasn't changed maybe the first two uncharted games. I think the Final Fantasy 7 remake has become a bit of an albatross with how long it is taking, and how many chapters, but I would love to see Final Fantasy VI remade.
also, I wish Mass Effect 2 and 3 were like the first game. I don't like the Gears Effect and reducing the rpg elements and exploration. That you can't run and gun. And biotic powers were nerfed. In II the best added feature was the nuke gun. But they made it less powerful in III and not nearly as effective in legendary edition where you used to be able to one shot anyone.
