Honestly, I’d lock in RPGs too, but more specifically open-world action RPGs if I could be picky about it. There’s just so much you can do in that genre , story, exploration, combat, character building, crafting, moral choices, you name it. One game can eat up hundreds of hours and still feel fresh.
That said, I was this close to picking strategy games. Something about slowly taking over a map with perfectly timed moves scratches a different kind of itch.
But yeah, give me something like Witcher 3, Skyrim, Elden Ring, or Mass Effect, and I’m set for life.
Curious to see if anyone goes with rhythm games or something totally niche.
