If you could bring back any completed tv show for another season which would you choose and why.

Rome and Boardwalk Empire for the same reason, they both ended prematurely before the full idea was realised, especially Rome, HBO simply didn't wanna spare anymore budget for Rome and instead opted to develop a much more well known show known today as Game Of Thrones.

Angel. I love the ending but man, it was supposed to have a 6th season.

Twin Peaks. If you consider how influential it was for future works, interactive and not, imagine how much we could have done with one more season of weirdness.

The Sopranos, I would love to see what would happen after Tony's "death".

Grimm. Even though that show was only on for 6 seasons, it had the potential to go on for another 4 to 9 seasons. There were so many plot holes that were
never completed and the finale was kind of disappointing as it REALLY could have been better.
My Favorite episode was Season 6 Episode 7 - Blind Love. Funniest episode ever
Saddest episode was - Season 6 Episode 10 - Blood Magic. Very sad ending. Chokes me up EVERY time I watch it.
what GIF by Grimm

"Zach Stone is gonna be famous". Only ever had one epic season. Over 10 years old by now but it's one of those that are so bad it becomes incredibly funny. Actually have an IMDB score of 8.3 which chocked me. Thought I was the only one along with my sister that actually loved the show. 🤣

Firefly, Stargate Universe. New Amsterdam, Forever, Cowboy Bebop.

And lots of other interesting series, that got cancelled before their time.

Stargate SG-1.

But in this time of woke/lgbt+ bullshit, I probably wouldn't want to ruin my childhood memories....

But often if they can leave out that bullshit, you sometimes still get really good tv series.

What!!! What do you mean it was the worst of the bunch? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

No it wasn't. It needed a long time to build, actually during season 2, the story started to get really really interesting.

But yeh stargate SG-1 had a lot of very good stories, and was more family friendly probably...

The A Team. Yeah, Hannibal died soon after, but be cool to see how they ended up once the military/police were no longer after them. Would have been better years ago - the remaining are pretty old now.
Also - Forever (the 2014-2015 one) was cool and Mann and Machine from the 90s. Yancy Butler was hot then but has to be old by now.

Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch? that show was really good and I always wanted another season

SG-1 would be hilarious because MacGyver is like a million years old. Richard, I mean. He is older than Kurt from the film. Kurt is 74 and Richard is 75. If they can do it and its not somehow ludicrous or ridiculous why not. It's not like those godawful Disney Star Wars films, didn't bring back Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford when they were too old. Or Indiana Jones. And the Buffy reboot with Whedon is bringing back Sarah Michelle Gellar. Those terrible remakes of Ghostbusters brought back the old cast, the I know what you did last Summer and Scream brought actors back. One of those Jurassic World movies brought the old cast back. It's kind of what these fools in the movie business do, they make legacy sequels and requels and remakes. The kids today they get my childhood instead of their own, why not recycle the 1980s endlessly. Why not make a thousand bad comic book movies with the same plot. There is zero creativity. Even the Kurtzman Star Trek shows are a joke they are either a pantomime, a situation comedy or an outright parody. The ones that do well and how little of them there are, are based in nostalgia bait. The Star Wars shows are disgracefully bad, I thought Book of Boba Fett was equally as bad as the acolyte, maybe as bad as Willow.

Cowboy Bebop and Outlaw Star are shows you could never do today or do correctly. Sunrise does not make shows like those or even Dirty Pair anymore. They also did the original Mobile Suit Gundam.

Firefly for sure at the time
Dollhouse maybe, but it's been awhile since I watched it and I don't recall how it ended
Dark Angel but where Jessica Alba shows more skin and/or nudity as James Cameron originally intended, but she's a prude and didn't show anything

Dollhouse or Firefly would have to be taken over by someone other than Whedon like Buffy. Whedon is cancelled and will never likely work again. I don't trust Disney with Buffy.

Ash Vs the Evil Dead but it kind of went off the rails. I would have liked a 4th film and not a reboot. But more horror than comedy or a mix. Evil Dead I mean. You have no Evil dead without Bruce Campbell. But he is 67 years old now.

oh man forgot about that show but I liked it. Really just want more evil dead content in general with Bruce :(

I could say Stargate SG-1, but I know I'm already getting that wish in about 2 years.

Like others mentioned, I love Firefly, but it's a series heavily reliant on the main characters. Joss killed off several, and the remainig actors have aged quite a bit. It's hard to imagine a continuation having the same magic as the original. Not to mention, Joss would likely not be involved.

I really liked Angel too. I thought it was a great series, but a really sad ending. I think it deserved a better close out than it did, but that's just my opinion.

I have been a hard core SG-1 fan. I got really excited when I heard that Amazon was considering restarting the series. That show could have gone on another 10 years. It had a LOT of potential. I hope it's as good if not better than the Original.

Sarah Michelle Gellar was in the prequel series to Dexter. Still hot.
