There are just too many, but I'd have to go with Hannibal. That one was just great and didn't deserve the rushed ending it got for being cancelled.

George RR Martin actually has to finish the books for material, at best you could see a tv remake in 10 or 20 years. I mean if it isn't another Wheel of time situation and Brandon Sanderson is asked to conclude a Song of Ice and Fire series.

that is a very good idea to conclude or do a new season of a show, but be wary you could always get A He-man situation. Someone might ruin your show, its kind of why i'm happy Transfomers G1 hasn't been adapted or continued.

Stargate Universe. Reason: It was well-made and inspired

I thought that was the worst of the three. SG1 wasn't perfect by any means, but atlantis was meh and universe to me was almost unwatchable. Didn't like the captain guy

Too low ratings on Nbc apparently. Show runners were talking about having at least 1-2 more seasons lined up. Sadly too many people pirated it or watched it via other means, while nbc only cared about the live tv ratings in America. Personally I was aware of the rating issue while it was being broadcast, but I'm not American so I couldn't even contribute my own view to the rating as the show wasn't even made properly available in my country until long after it had finished its run.

Alf or Pennyworth - they ended a season on a cliffhanger and were never renewed. Alf did have a TV movie over a decade later, but... Bringing back a show on a cliffhanger from over 30 years ago would be hard though - they'd need new actors for the most part.

For me probably Jupiter's Legacy since the writers set-up a bunch of plot threads for the 2st season and then Netflix canned it for being too expensive

It's based on a comic book. Also, Supercrooks is set in the same universe.

Also, Dexter, I think they could have done things differently and the new series just doesn't feel the same imo.
As far as cancelled shows though, Heroes, hands down.
