To do this, you need to know what you are specifically interested in. Visual novels? Sandboxes? Kinetic novels I'm discarding, they're not games. Be specific about your interests. The people here are quite friendly, I think, after clarifying the question you will get full recommendations. But most importantly - remember, everyone has different tastes.

Visual Novels with choices (preferably choices that matter), no kinetic novels, I'm also partial to rpg games as long as they are not too grindy.

I enjoy most of Inceton games' games. May not be what you're looking for, but pretty ok writing and nice models.
