I think those galleries in games are interesting to see if you are missing anything, but probably a list with items and strike through what you have done, or the other way would have been okay too....

Hmm, I'd never keep a game solely for its gallery. Like some others in here, I'd usually only check it for completion's sake.
If I were after a game's images alone, there are better ways to see them (pull them from the game itself/find them online).
