How often do you reopen an H-game to "appreciate" the gallery?

Depends on the game, "a house in a hill" had really good animations and the scenes as well, but I usually don't check the gallery after finishing the games

I replay a few games that i really like, like Once in a Lifetime. The gallery is more of a nice check for me to make sure Im unlocking most of the game, and where to focus on my next playthrough to get content I miss.

The only game in recent memory that did this with was Once A Porn A Time so if anyone is looking for one, that's the recommendation. Otherwise the gallery is more like a checklist to make sure I've seen all the scenes

Most games have mediocre animations, I rarely go back to a game gallery.

I must not be the only one that does this, but I have a habit of constantly making new saves to essentially create my own personal gallery of any renders I like the look of or whenever there is some spicy dialogue. It helps when there is an update after a long time as well since I'm able to just go back a few pages of save files to see what was going on last time. Anyways, because of this I rarely check galleries unless its for special renders that you can unlock or something.

Now that you mention it, I never go into galleries. I finish the game and unless there is an update I won't play it again. There are few games that I liked enough to return to a gallery or replay them.

Same how it is mostly a checklist of scenes. It is odd when it's missing despite not even using it that much.
Exactly, it is important that a gallery exists to know if you have seen everything interesting, especially with sandbox games or with branching etc. Sometimes the replays seem buggy compared to replaying from a save but for my favorite games I have gone back to both gallery and saves to appreciate them. Games which give you clues to unlock gallery/replays are very nice.

I supose the only point of looking at a scene in gallery only would be for fap material. So it depends if I'm interested in fapping for a game, or anything else.

I guess you can infer the story when revisiting a gallery scene, but there's no build up which is what these games do so much better than other fap material.

So I'm in the never camp as well

When a game is really good, I heard that people actually do not delete the game but keep them saved in an external HD for eventual appreciation once or twice each month.
That is the mark of a good game. For example Diablo 2.

I usually check the gallery when I start a game to see how much new content there is. If there isn't much I just watch the old scenes and delete.

There are definitely some games in my hall of fame with really quality scenes that I revisit. SSP, Harem Hotel, etc.

Honestly I dont think i ever have. I usually delete the games after i've finished them fully. Just never gone back to games from this site!

Everything I play is divided into 5 ranks, their description change depending on what it is, for instance for normal games 5 is not something I will never play, just extremely improbable, adult games however go like this, if it's on 1 I generally "appreciate" it a couple of times a week rotating between the 1s, and they generally are divided it good story where I don't even care about the porn, just the porn, or both, if it's 2, it would be every week and half to two weeks taking the place of a 1 here and there, 3 is when I am looking at my collection and see it there something that been a while since I last looked, 4 is not downloaded, and I may download them from time to time after a couple of updates just to see how it is, and 5 I don't even care if it exists.
1 and 2 I have them downloaded on my PC, 3 just some of them, just to see them from time to time them I delete them and 5 I never even download them
1- I love it (ex: A house in the rift, Desert Stalker, Little Gree Hill)
2- It's good (ex: The Headmaster, MWNeus, Long Story Short)
3- It's ok (ex: Babysitter, Insexual Awakening 2, Where the Heart Is)
4- Not that interesting/not good (Just did not find interesting and generally don't even remember them until I see they had and update)
5- Did not like it/hate it (shit with netorare, scat, guro and other things I don't like)

PS: I don't always enjoy them, there are a good amount of them where I just like the scenes, as I find them interesting.

Rarely, but some games I have left in the folder for possible later ”appreciation”

Largely depends on the game, if it's completed and if I have something to play or not. Only games I keep for the Gallery are usually FMC ones with a good amount of scenes, particularly if they scratch an itch that's either not too common (say monsters or something less anthro) or if the art quality is way too good to pass up.

I never check the gallery, not even for completion purposes.
