discussion How Often Do You Choose the Non-Harem Ending

I think about it sometimes, if enjoying a game and want to aim for all the possible endings.
Now if this actually happens is a different story, tend to instead move onto the next game that has grabbed my interest.

I will always choose the harem ending if available.

The short answer is I never choose harem -- never -- but I will make exceptions for harem games if the women have the same sexual freedoms as the guy.

I definitely enjoy multiple partners, but I prefer there to be some secrecy, deception and dishonesty involved. I also don't mind a bit of a chase, at least with certain characters. I get bored if every woman fauns over the MC and is unaffected by having to share. There's no passion there and it becomes an abundance of meaningless sex.

Typically I will go for a non-harem end the first few times then end up with the harem end either as a new playthrough or if there is a gallery I will just see what I was missing out on, mainly though because the Harem ends usually have a lot more work involved with them

Never as picking one LI in games leaves me disappointed. As you miss a lot of content just to pursue one LI as well.

Depends on the length of the game, and if ending with just 1 li gives something special that the harem ending wouldn't give.

Harem, if avaibly is basically the default route I feel.

There are also very few games that have dedicated non-harem routes, and even the Harem routes often are just an accumulation of one-on-one relationships with the MC, instead of a truly interactive harem.

There are exceptions of course, and these tend to be the special games.

If a game gives you the choice to end with a single love interest or end with a harem, how often do you chose the single LI over the harem?

When I'm playing a game that has (for instance) 3 LI's and I can choose to either end with girl A, B, C, or all three, I'm going to take that last option every time. I'll probably skip through the other endings for completions sake just to see the scenes, but for me, that harem or polygamous ending is always going to be the ending I'm playing towards.

It's to the point for me that I'm disappointed if there isn't a harem ending.

I do a Harem Ending first, if the game allows it. Afterward I do the focused individual stories, since they're usually deeper than Guy fucks everyone, The End
