discussion How much time is unacceptable between lewd scenes in a game?

There should be sex scenes in the first update. But if we are already on the third update and there is nothing but blueballing, dev don't quit your day job.

there should be at minimum at least one scene a update because you know it a lewd game you're making/playing, that should be the main point of the update.

As long as the story gets me hooked, I can play it as long as I'd like to without any sex, games like Summer's Gone have teasing and hot characters, and that is enough for me, and that's in my top 3 AVNs.

It's such a delicate balance. Sometimes you just want to get to the Lewd scene, but if the writing is good and/or the gameplay is fun, I don't mind waiting around. 30 mins is probably fine, but I feel like the lewd scenes should increase over time

Depends on how interesting the game is really? You can have long breaks with no smut if what's in between them is captivating.
But if you're clearly a smut game for the smut, well then get to the smut!

Pretty long, if you have the ability to rapid-skip through text.

I don't need a new lewd scene every twenty seconds, but if I have to click thirty options, or hit skip and wait for like four minutes, there's too much text.

There is no real rule for me, Can play though a whole 8+ hour title with only one scene and be fine with it as long as its narrative interesting
If title is just a sandbox grindfest just to get to the next lewd on the other hand im out.

I think it have to be determine by the game. VN game I would say it need to at least 3-5 scene transition from getting to know the character and the plot. Some of them does drag on the story. But sandbox I usually go "if it happen it happens." Since those are more controlled on when you want to do it or sometime where you want it.

Magical Girl Konoha has a lot of front-loaded lewd scenes. Actually the best one in the game is in the prologue. I kept playing that all the way to the end long after I got bored with the sexy parts. So I guess if a game is good enough then maybe there is no limit.

I kind of think it really depends on the context of the game. If it has a really good story I don't really care how long it takes. But if I pick a game where I dont care about the story, going for an hour, or even a half an hour without any scenes is just ridiculous.
