I've played over 50 probably closer to 120, but I have supported none of them on patreon because I am broke lolol. But I have actively wanted to support at least 3 devs cause I like their games soo much. Once upon a lifetime, The Pilgrimage, Dreams of Desire, SummertIme Saga (if it wasn't a scam but I owe them something)
After reading these comments I don't feel bad at all now. I've played 20-30ish and supported about 7. I'm all about supporting good product. Now with that being said I'm allot more careful about who I support because more n more "creators" are showing up and just making half a game to abandon it half away or put it on "hold" just to milk the$$$ while working on the new game release.
Games Supported: Currently I think it's 12-13 different titles. I have a limit on how many € that I am willing to spend, on this hobby, It hard to say the exact number of games, as I am always changing what I support. For example, if a game adds something like Futa content or NTR or a few others, (nothing against them, just not where I choose to spend my €uro's) I cancel support and find another title or two that I think could use the money.
How many games? I can't say, I think in the 250-300 range (didn't go through all of them to the end, many were given after playing 45 min-1 hour).
Didn't support anyone on Patreon.
I've tried hundreds but not recently. Got nearly 2TB worth of games on my NAS that I haven't got around to playing.
I supported Long Live the Princess and The Dark Lord's Trip before but nothing worth supporting since then except maybe Found in Translation
Currently got 100+ on the go. Deleted all previously completed/abandoned VNs so I guess 200 in all.
Sadly cannot support any Devs as I have a joint bank account and don't want to be questioned by the 'bank account manager' where all her shopping money is going!
I downloaded everything that looked a bit interesting. Deleted long directories of games that I never tried out, and then started downloading again, what ever looked interesting. I would support some games on patreon if I could...
I have supported several developers via the different subscriber services over the years. I am pretty picky about it though. Developers that are active with their fan base, update progress regularly and generally communicate well with subscribers are the ones I stick with. I believe that some developers truly care and put out a great product that is worthy of monetary support. They have to prove it to me though.
