discussion How did you stumble upon WTF.com or allthfallen.moe?

[Baldoran95]

In the past, I started a "How did you stumble on WTF.com" thread and opened a "How did you stumble on WTF.moe" thread.

I was really happy that so many of you replied to those threads and shared how you discovered these sites.

Unfortunately, those threads were deleted.

I assume it was because they were two very similar threads and got deleted for spam...so, let's combine these pirate sites into one new thread.

Now I’d like to know: how did you discover WTF.com, or if you don't know that site how did you discover WTF.moe?

[PurgedMilk]

I found LC/WTF by looking up VN games on google. A bunch of the titles I wanted to play were all eitier on WTF or LC or fuck95 or similar websites, and that was how i ended up getting onto the forums.

Uhh thanks for your answer xD

I was looking for the kind of mods WTF would provide. Ended finding it, plus this place as bonus.

I discovered WTF.com thanks to @Peter. He shared a link from WTF for the game *Hitomi's Summer Vacation*. I looked there because the links on LC were dead—the same thing happened with the game *It's Not a World for Alyssa*; the links on LC were down, but I found working ones on WTF.com.

I found out about WTF through the people here on LC who kept talking about the site; the first person to draw my attention to it was @MattShizzle, who mentioned it in a thread.

Hm... maybe the threads have been deleted due to indirectly advertising these sites? Not sure myself really either.

Skyrim modding lead me to WTF, i think the Elin tail and ears mod to be specific since it mentions that elin race is not allowed on the original site (what was the site called, love something?) The other one i found thanks to i believe it was WTF in one of the few "other sites i use" lists

That might be the case...idk

Well, no matter the case, its interesting to know how people found stuff

Not long ago, a weird chain of actions lead me into finding a based funny discord replacement which i will keep my eye on for now. All thanks to jumping from one website to another, seeing a random thread that had an interesting name and reading through it to find their contact on the said replacement for discord. Sometimes you find diamonds looking for gold

is WTF still active? I heard it was shutting down

Good on em! I'd heard they were running out of funding or something

Many things happend. Am not active there, but from seeing and reading through the posts there has been some drama. Its always drama tbh, this time infighting and witch hunting again. The owner wanted to shut it down but said that they gonna keep it alive out of spite. If thats true then i appreciate it, fuck those witch hunters. Seen people treat fictional content like its the most illegal thing while they had erotic roleplaying going on in a general chat with minors involved. Seriously, how often does this has to happen?

[i_patchy]

Via Loverslab after i herd of "controversy" with some of the mods there. From WTF i got here. And so far sticking with LC.

It's the strawman that never gets old. It'll keep happening so long as anyone can use it as an excuse to point at people they don't like and say "they're just like those p*dos"

Honestly, that’s the beauty of the internet You start looking for one thing and somehow end up discovering something completely unexpected. Sometimes the best finds are the ones you weren’t even looking for.

Found WTF about 10 years ago, it was for some SIMS mods. One of the best resources for that kind of stuff, at least in my experience.

Azkoel was due to another forum shutting down and some people created it as a replacement. It's decent.

[Vicegrip23]

Yeah Azkosel was created around the time FH shut down iirc, they directly linked it to the page.

[Emirkaninga]

I didn't.

[Zuze7]

What are these sites? And can i trust em? Got hacked recently so now i'm a little gun shy when it comes to registering new accounts on random websites

[SilentHunter]

I already wrote, I found one on a torrent site, fortunately, it described in some detail what awaits on this site, so I didn't make any attempts to even look there. The second one is that my wife downloaded a Sims-4 build with mods from the second site. I found it easily, looked in, and it felt like I'd stepped on a pile of dog shit and I wasn't there anymore. There was a lot of noise about its closure, if they close it, I'm not sorry.
