For me, 10 is the maximum size for a harem. Anything beyond that feels like there’s not enough time or focus to properly develop each character. A smaller harem allows for more meaningful interactions and better character development, whereas with a larger one, it can become difficult to give each character enough attention, making them feel more like background figures than fully fleshed-out individuals. It’s about quality over quantity for me. That being said, it’s true that whenever a new female character is introduced make you want to expand the harem but better to keep it smaller to really enjoy each character’s growth and story
