Thanks! Just wanted to say I made an account here mostly because of recent itch.io's ban of all (NSFW) adult games. First steam and now the indie stomping grounds. Hopefully the big payment processor internet police don't force LewdCorner to comply as well.

I love Furry, Beast, and Lolisho games. But will play anything if the creator put their heart and soul into it.

I speak EN/JP, I learned most of my Japanese from translating Manga and H-Doujins (before Machine Translations were even a thing.)

Just wanna say its a great thing that places like this exist. Yeah the stuff that's hosted might not be everyone's preference, but surely if there's a market they should be allowed to appeal to it. It's really upsetting that we can't get big budget H-games because a bunch of pearl clutchers think we shouldn't be allowed to make our own decisions.

Paypment processor (read: Paypal) received a complaint that one of the NSFW games on steam contained rapey/abuse type content, towards relatives (mom, in this case)
Paypal is known to have a pretty strict stance against then, and basically forced Steam to take that game, and similar games with similar topics, to be removed from steam, or else they would stop providing payment services to steam.. Hence, games are now gone.

PS: This is also the main reason that large porn sites that have payment systems (pornhub) do not allow any ''mother / daughter'' type content on their website, and this is why you only see step-sis, step-mom, step-dad etc. Very likely also due to Paypal..

Collective Shout, they believe it is their job to police
the internet and ban anything they consider misogynistic,
they even went after playboy, and a company
selling a calendar of swim suit models [no nudity].

There is also some group that took down FH a
website similar to LC, because they were offended.

There is news coming from Australia now that
the government is going to ban a number of websites
including youtube.

A bunch of stuff happening in the Uk with new laws,
Civitai has had to ban UK users because of these
new laws. A number of U.S. states, last I checked
I think 24 states total, have porn laws requiring ID.

VPN is going to be the big go to, now that bans are happening

They tried to get Detroit Become Human banned which failed. People have been digging into them. Apparently they been trying to get video games banned for 10 years. Theses fuckers ain't done yet. These companies gave them an inch and now they want a mile.

Read Visa/Mastercard. Paypal is way lower on the decision making chain.

not to tighten my tinfoil hat, but I doubt it's just the collective shout. There's always outcry for questionable content in media/video games. I think it's more likely someone in position of power finally get their way and using collective shout as a shield/scapegoat in case things go wrong or there's huge backlash.
