Is the game "on hold" because of radio silence since April or for other reasons?

Usually the thread owner changes AVN status = the dev did. Who knows the reason but gonna guess the same reason as the other dozen in the past week. I think it takes a year and goes straight to abandoned if it's inactivity/radio silence reasons.

Eh. SSP is still going, which is more than just decent and subs getting 0.8 update in a week or so (mostly just mechanics changes though). Most of the on hold ones will probably be back after 6 months or so, for some it just takes time for the paranoia to die down (or for them to plan and do an international move, what I would do if I had to before walking away from 1000+ subs).

Who the fuck gave the chimp from planet of the apes control over the character designs, I'm expecting the girls to say "OOK", that or hes going for the plastic surgery fucked up cheeks and he royally fucked it.
Joy also gives me small rodent vibes, maybe its the mouth shape, the amount of teeth showing, a combo I dunno but still.

eh for dead AVNs to me it doesn't matter anyway. I prefer even not starting a story knowing it will never be finished, particularly if it possibly ends on a cliffhanger.

The Mixdrop link for the Windows version still works, kinda. Just have to replace the .co with .ag in the URL (e.g. replace mixdrop.co with mixdrop.ag).
Mixdrop had issues with their old domain and switched to a .ag one instead, making older links invalid.

Anyway, I added some new mirrors.

Considering his Patreon is dead and he last mentioned in Discord months ago it's on indefinte hold I'd say it's dead/abandoned, he's just not came out and said so yet. I'm guessing he's in a shitty loli-hostile country since the original reason stated was because of the Westy drama back in August (otherwise there's no reason to care about what those countries think if you don't live in one of them).
