Being a DIK has plenty of emotional moments, even more so in later episodes. After visiting Derek's house I cried like a bitch. That shit was both haunting and tragic, especially knowing that there are people somewhere out there living in a situation like his in particular.

I completely agree. For an adult game, Being a DIK has some surprisingly heavy moments, and Derek's house was easily one of the roughest. It wasn't just sad—it felt real. Knowing there are people out there dealing with that kind of environment makes the whole scene hit a lot harder.

Lessons in Love. The game I played for the goon and stayed for the story. Many people hate games with lots of dialogue, especially ones that people deem too tryhard or too philosophical. This is a game I spent a good chunk of my life thinking about. I left a couple years ago due to the constant updates (a quite substantial update each month), but the game was the therapy I never had and I will never forget it.
