LOL yeah mostly they seem to be poorly implemented. But I also liked the impregnation spinner in SS. THe rest of the minigames though i could do without (so much pizza delivering....)
For real, does anybody really feel minigames add anything to any game?? The only one I felt made sense was the impregnation spinner in summertime saga because its sort of realistic to have an unpredictable element to pregnancy.
It depends on if you play the games mainly for the porn or also as a game. I really liked the combat minigame in God and Void, which is iirc an abandoned game, but it felt fresh and reminded me of some turn card based games.
Most minigames feel like the game suddenly panicking and going “wait, we need GAMEPLAY now...” right before the scene starts.
I don’t mind them when they’re short and actually fit the context, but most of the time they just turn into repetitive busywork after the third repeat.
What I really hate though are unskippable minigames. If I already cleared it once, please stop making me replay the exact same mechanic every loop like I’m trapped in some kind of developer purgatory.
And honestly, the worst offenders are the ones where you’re mashing the mouse like you’re trying to restart a dying car engine.
