By saying 'disturbed', I don't mean simply being freaked out or shocked at seeing something gross or violent, but rather something that made you really uncomfortable or inspired a deep revulsion. A game that just made you feel 'wrong'.
My own experience would be that of the first time playing DoL. I don't know why that game in particular made me feel so - maybe the grim portrayal of sex paired with the (questionable) age of the characters, or maybe my own relative inexperience with adult gaming at the time, perhaps both. Either way, my stomach felt like a crumpled up tissue when I started off, thinking "I can't believe I'm actually playing this" paired with "Man, I don't think I should be doing this". It went away eventually, courtesy of me finding out the game was actually very engaging in its gameplay, but I still feel residues of that initial reaction whenever I start up a new save.
So yeah, anyone else? I'm curious to hear how common this is, or if I'm just a pussy.
