AI is a tool and should be only be used as a tool, it's not a render program like daz or blender and it's not a replacement for art
People should only use AI for: Hair, Clothes, Background and to add details to skin,
don't use AI for: EYES (they look soulless), FACES (they look like plastic) and Full Images

I played before the remake and liked where it was going. Not even going to comment on the AI or anything like that but I feel like the writing has gotten pretty weird, the characters seem to be high or something.

Not only are the Renders being re-rendered by AI but the Dialogs as well.

You're right that the characters sound high—the daughter seems like a psychopath now. The only unchanged character, I think, is Madison, the redhead who has always been unhinged.
I think the AI looks much better now. When the remake was first announced and fully done with AI, it didn’t look great.
It seems like the developers reconsidered.
I don't know it this is true but could explain why I think the game looks better now. From the other site :
"Before the remake was DAZ and so on (most of the tags were there for that version), but the remake she original did it all in AI, but with the backlash from supporters and she herself didn't think it turned out very well, re-did it yet again. So, there isn't much AI as there was now in the remake."

I have to question whether people complaining about the remake played the last Episode 2/Season 2 updates before the remake. They were a complete trainwreck. While its not perfect, and I have my own doubts that the game will get finished, the quality of the remake updates is considerably higher than what we were getting before. I think the dev made the right call.

I just can't get over the fact that all the characters are white, yet they live in Japan, a country that does not let non-Japanese become citizens. Yes, I know expats exist but as foreign nationals/resident aliens I don't think they can get jobs as police and such.
