Can't help but wonder if this VN will ever get finished. There's been several updates in the past where we had to restart. Fine, I'll swallow that pill. Then the dev goes awol, because of personal issues. Fine, if its true it sux.
But since the beginning, the dev has been extremely bad at communicating, posting any sorts of blogs, or mini updates how things are going. We can wait months without even a word from her, the dev.
Now it's been over a month since she posted anything on her Patreon. Like usual, very quiet. With the excuse she's shy and bad at communicating. Well the latter we noticed lol.
Still, personally I do not like it when devs expect US to join discord just to hear any news. We shouldn't have to jump thru hoops and use this or that app just to find out if there's news. When there's literally a well functioning website called Patreon, where she is literally getting money from. So if it's good enough to get our money from that website, surely it's good enough to keep the supporters in "the loop" too?
With her constant disappearing/being quiet for very long time, very often, you never know if she just bailed or not.
So this is simply why I question if this will ever be a finished game. And I'm almost willing to bet, that before that day comes - if it comes - we'll have another restart and/or remake.
Also isnt remakes supposed to make things better? I know it's a personal preference and whatnot, but gosh, the 'original' was and looked better. But that's my opinion.
This is also why I stopped supporting this dev. I used to throw her money every month on Patreon. But there's just no way I feel comfortable to throw money at this game anymore, I simply dont trust this dev.
Aint meant to sound like I'm taking a piss at the dev or the game, nor is it 'hateful' in any way. Just wondering, and thinking out loud, kinda. I just really struggle to believe this one will be finished, ever.
I do like, or at least, likeD the game. But like with Family Fairing just to bring another example up, these remakes are annoying. Having to re-play basically the same stuff again and again. And waiting months, maybe even years, to get back to where we were before the dev decided to mil... I mean make a remake.

The rendered images and story have been improved for clarity and coherence. Although I didn’t play the original, several people have mentioned that it was disorganized and difficult to follow.

Are the characters better now or still obnoxious?
The use of A.I and doing a complete remaster of the game was completely unnecessary.
Also on top of the developer having mental problems according to her updates it sounds like it might get abandoned.
