I’m not really sure what a sim is to you, but a sim to me is a game like the sims 4, rimworld, etc. something where you can relax and slowly make a civilization.
The word "sim" does kind of muddy the waters. Those I'd would consider "simulators" of various respects, while the "immersive sim" tag is often used in conjunction with other gaming tags like "FPS" , "RPG", etc.I’m not really sure what a sim is to you, but a sim to me is a game like the sims 4, rimworld, etc. something where you can relax and slowly make a civilization.
Err, coming from someone who has seen a lot of ugly stuff, I can pretty much assure you a proper shotgun load to the nuts won't be leaving anyone suffering for an hour, let alone two. Unless you're dealing with one big (meaning fat) motherf'er, the pellet spread is probably hitting the femoral arteries and you're goin bye bye in a few minutes. Closer range is just gonna leave you bled out from the gaping wound and shock. Cauterizing isn't going to help here either.
Now, if you want to really make that game rapist pay, look up William "Action" Jackson. That guy had a really rough couple of days.
Insexual Awakening 2 ( https://lewdcorner.com/threads/insexual-awakening-2-love-and-learn-v0-42-alpha-team-cyber-hexxx.113/ ) has what you describe.I have Plenty of loli games but i'm short on Shota/son MILF/Mom games. any good recommendations
Does Skyrim really come close? It's a sandbox sure, but when it comes to actual content there tend to be very little choice outside of the occasional scripted option. And stealth archer tends to outshine almost everything. To a lesser extent, some more well known Western RPGs would fall close to the category:
Skyrim, Fallout, etc.
But while skills allow you to kill X person with an arrow, a knife, your fists, a fireball, etc.... you still need to kill X person to progress. Which is why I want to acknowledge them, but separate out what I feel are true immersive sims.
Dishonored (all 3 of them) would probably fall within that context as you can get through each "problem" in numerous ways depending on how you like to play in your current playthrough, maybe have a look at that if you haven't already.I love immersive sim RPGs... but they seem to be cursed, with companies going under after finishing these magnum opus's. I'd love to know what people's favorite immersive sims are, see if there are any I am missing as well.
For context: An immersive sim is a game where you have many ways to approach a problem. Immersive sim RPGs usually address this via skills of some sort. Examples of immersive sims include:
Deus Ex (1, 2, HR, MD)
Arx Fatalis
Prey
Vampire the Masquerade : Bloodlines

Of course, you all may disagree. If so, what does immersive sim mean to you?
Dishonored is an awesome game. I've played all the parts and they're all great.Dishonored (all 3 of them) would probably fall within that context as you can get through each "problem" in numerous ways depending on how you like to play in your current playthrough, maybe have a look at that if you haven't already.
Ye I agree. A full ghost/shadow/clean hands run is just as much fun if not more so than a full high chaos one and being able to choose what you want to do each mission is really niceDishonored is an awesome game. I've played all the parts and they're all great.
Great point, Skyrim does have some of that emergent gameplay people love with the immersive sims, especially when you are playing outside the intent of the authors. It's a tough thing to nail down, but also, as you say... if you played one, you kind of know what its all about.I find the "immersive sim" label to be somewhat confused. I know what kind of games people mean when they say it, but if you think about it, it can be applied to a vast number of games that fall way outside of it. Is Half-Life 2 an immersive sim, because you can solve a number of problems by messing around with the physics engine, even where the designers didn't anticipate it? Are any games with physics engines part of the genre, really? After all, you can solve things through manipulating the environment and it's based on the rules of physics, not the programmer specifically designing every solution. It's very clearly emergent gameplay, which seems to be the core trait people always bring up. At that point the label becomes a joke of course.
As for Skyrim, there is the one thing that kind of falls into the category: Putting buckets on people to obscure their vision, so they cannot catch you thieving around. That's extremely silly in its specifics, but very much the kind of thing people play "immersive sims" for. That outside the box thinking and approaching problems in unusual ways. It's the only thing Skyrim has that really goes in that direction though.
