I dont mind them but even though it depends on the story. I feel like Japanese/eastern kinetic novels tend to have slow start and western have good start but then they get booring real fast

Hate, hate, HATE, kinetic novels. They aren't games yet are labeled as such. Also a lot of them hide amongst the VNs with actually gameplay in them and it is hard to tell until you fire it up. Problem is that most of the games+ are kinetic novels so I can't really avoid them.

Not really, most of the time its all about grinding the same repeating events to see something new, I feel like only a few of them are playable, thanks to artstyle mostly and even fewer are good - because they dont add grinding to the game
