Midlife Crisis is definitely worth to play. One of the best games I have played. One of those rare ones you don't even want to skip any dialogies and story components.
I think it's abandoned or at least on-hold right now, but it's not the first time the dev has taken some good free time to himself and went completely silent.. So there is still hope he will return, with some odd explanations.

Similarly, In For A Penny and the whole trilogy Rose Garden by Lockheart make you want to keep reading the stuff even when there's no lewd.
