Oh, the captain was female? That doesn't narrow it down but I was looking for an old man captain.
I did look all the way back from 2012 and earlier on ship based games (18+ games). I thought the triplets would narrow it down, but that doesn't seem to be a common tag.

If you haven't, try Kamidori alchemy meister and Sengoku Rance. Two examples of come for the sex, stay for the gameplay.

Two good choices there. Sengoku Rance I think is the best of the series, but the Rance character is very interesting.
If OP is looking for VNs exclusively and not games - Sagara Family was one of my favorites way back when.

Just female MC in general. Whenever a game has male MC gameplay it inevitably ends up as jumping through hoops so you can stick your dick in every hole.

I've seen single option choices in VNs. Only a few times I seen it used to mark some significant event in the story. A lot of other times, I see it as a pointless choice.

Could be done to create some tension on a dramatic moment. Pull the audience out of just reading.
Or possibly the author was planning to have another choice there and just never got around to it.
