Some sandbox games are too hard to play, no help/instructions what to do

So, with a good WT, you can love it?

3D avn. Sandbox is just not good specially those grindy ones. The only good sandbox game is Our Bright Days UI is so precise, clean and clear no random clicking also very straightforward no useless grinding that nothing add to game.

thanks for the recommendations. I have already tried corruption of champions and weren't the biggest fan since the text/pic ratio were a big too big for my liking so it felt like reading a book more than playing a game but Course of Temptation looks interesting

No problem. I remembered CoT specifically because it's a lot more like DoL except for the college setting.

BDCC is a lot more like CoC/TiTS gameplay-wise (and writing-wise), but the animation sidebar really sells it for me. It's kind of like DoL's character image and "combat" images, but as an almost fully animated non-pixel art paperdoll with a LOT more variety, positions, states, movements, and actually depicts the current scene and all involved characters pretty accurately and a lot more extensively than DoL does. At least give it a try for that, but I get that the walls of text is a bit of a turn-off for some.

Yes, and you can be afraid of missing a scene?

its not about missing scene. its about flow... in VN you CUT to next scene after some interaction where as in Sandbox you have to open map navigate, click this, click that , fk everything etc etc. it takes you out of the game.

i grinded myself hard for Big Brother... its a grind hell. never ever wanted to play game like that... same reason i haven't played Man of the house yet.

Yes, I understand your pain for Big Brother, you have to be patient. As for Man of the House, I find the game much more intuitive. You can do it!

For several months now, I've been pondering a question that truly fascinates me, and I would really like to know your thoughts on it. When it comes to 3D games, what do you prefer? Would you opt for a very realistic style, like in "Milfy City" or "Family Venture", or would you rather something in a more 'manga' style like "Waifu Academy" or "HS Tutor"?

Also, I'd like to know what type of game you generally prefer: are you more a fan of visual novels, which tend to be more relaxed, or sandbox games, which offer more freedom?

What you're talking about is the model engine.
Realistic = Daz3D
Waifu Academy = Honey Select (1 or 2)
HS Tutor = Koikatsu.

Hard to pick specifics for art style, I just like what I like. There are fantastic examples and terrible examples of both 2d & 3d.

I do tend to prefer sandbox over VN, as long as it's not an insane grind to make any progress, and doesn't take 10+ clicks to leave your bedroom and make it to somewhere you can actually do something. And tend to dislike KN, because if I just wanted to watch and not make any difference in the story, I'd just watch porn.

As far as game engine, as long as it's not RPGM, I'm ok with it, but most of the games I tend to like are Renpy, HTML or Unity.

wanted to play it, but avoided it for quite a while couse of what a pain in the *** it is to get it to run propably with good translation xD. someday manned up, fought trough the installation process and found a rly well made game underneath

Realistic (but no to HS or HS2). Prefer Daz3D, but I have nothing against European-style "cartoon" graphics.
Sandboxes. I prefer to play, not to read - there is books for this.

For me it was Chasing Sunsets. Started it the first time, there was a lot of introduction with a talk between two guys in the beginning and I wasn't feeling it.
Started it again a few month later and loved it

I prefer 3D realistic VN games over the others. I do have games I have enjoyed that are not realistic 3D but not many. As for VN over Sandbox? I only have one sandbox game. I hate Sandbox games to be honest.

I like all of them. I am lucky since i can enjoy them all. HOWEVER, Honey Select and Koikatsu games MUST have custom made animations. My fav games are not Daz games but really good games made with HS2 or Koi.

The mc found out his dad is a mafia/gang boss, dad died or got thrown in prison (dont remember wich) and mc need to fill in since its turf is up for gab. In the game you have a bitch of a mother/ step mother that after you corrupt her become docile.
You also have a harem in that game
