I’m definitely a full reader. I play porn games instead of just watching porn because I love reading and seeing what kinds of characters the authors end up making. I love seeing the different interactions between them in addition to seeing what difference the choices you make have on the story so I always read. If a story isn’t compelling enough for me I just won’t play the game tbh.

I always skip a lot on the first run, just to get a quick look at what the game has to offer. There are a lot of games that are really slow burn where the payoff comes only years into "development" and I'd rather not waste my time. If I like the game I'll do another run where I read. Exceptions are the many, many games with way too much AI dialogue that just seems to go nowhere. I'll just skip to the sexy bits thanks.

It depends. If it's a lot of boring yakking or especially internal dialogue it gets a lot skipped. For most I read.

def reading, a boring story can ruin a vn for me and make me drop it no matter how hot the characters are.
no need to write the new Divine Comedy, just put passion in it and it'll become interesting enough

Seems like most of us have the same idea haha. If good I'll try not to skip, the context makes the porn worth it.

I find though that I tend to skip more the later into a game it gets, idk if that's because porn game quality tends to dip as it goes on, if the context I already know is enough or I am just a skipper at heart lol.
