What is the better path, being the nice guy or the abuser? So far the nice guy route seems to have a bit more content.

Do what you are into. If I was a completionist I'd just have light and dark saves. I save at every choice out of habit so light on the top half of each page, dark on the bottom half. Though not a huge fan of treating LI's like shit or BDSM so I mostly either just ignore dark choices or click it to see what happens out of curiosity before backing up and continuing the light path (if only I could do that in real life).

Well, story entertaining enough, that i read text without skipping. Art is above average, though not awesome or something. Author decided to go for reboot already which is annoying, but ok, and either i do not remember beginning of the game before reboot or there are changes to the story, but man do i hate mc and main li personality and behavior in the first chapters at least.

When I last played there, there were some scenes with the cafe girl that you could only get if you were on the dark path.
I haven't played in a while, but they should still be there.

I think it might have less to do with the saves not working and more to do with the fact the patch itself isnt working. I had an earlier save of before he raped the best friend and that one still work but when i got to the choices the option to actually rape her was missing. Same when i started over. So the problem probably isnt that the saves dont work but that that dialogue tree it's saved to is "inaccessible".

and yes i'm positive i installed the patch correctly. I have downloaded a number of "patches" like that plenty of times before.
