Gotta be honest, would've liked it more if it was based on Our Island but still did it's own thing instead of recreating it scene for scene. As it is it's just a remake with less content, fewer choices and slightly worse visuals. Hopefully it continues the story where the old game left off but I recently replayed Our Island and this felt less like a modern retelling and more like a knockoff. I know it's early days so I am certainly not writing it off yet but first impressions are lukewarm. It's certainly not bad, but it doesn't yet justify it's existence.
Some original content would help to showcase what can be expected if/when we get beyond the original story. It would also give people a reason to play this over replaying the original.

Anybody able to get the mac version working? Doesn't properly install on my mac..I Unzip it and its just a folder of a bunch of things...maybe I'm unpacking it wrong?

A game that has a girl that is not japanese or white in it is a instant watch for me. Too bad she ain't loli though, but it is still nice to see different races represented. I will watch this thread to see how it develops as i never download what are basically prologues.

When it happens you just need to add the right to execute on the .sh launch file, and on the ./lib/p3-linux.../NameOfGame file.
When you use linux and you don't understand why a script doesn't works, try to execute it in a terminal so you may expect logs and know what's up.

uh... what? The different filesizes literally prove that they're different files/versions. Do you think the same file "randomly" changes sizes between different servers "naturally?" This isn't genetics, where there are random mutations as you copy.
Just so we're clear: if "the same" files on different servers are literally even ONE BYTE different, it means one is corrupt, or it's a different version. That IS how real life works.
(of course, the file sizes have to be accurately reported - some fileservers are known for giving inaccurate estimates or rounding differences vs. the real size of the file when you download it).

Agreed. Dude getting shipwrecked on an island with a bunch of girls isn't exactly an original premise for a porn story. There was no reason to do a scene for scene recreation of the other game. Even the names are the same.
That said, some of the girls are pretty cute. I think the twins might even be a bit younger than in the original.
Either way, it will probably be a long time before we see an update. I think it was a year or more ago when the demo for this game came out.
