Well, I don't know. Things like the organization trying to screw you over for taking their girls, their way of making money basically, or Ivanna pulling a fast one on you and trying to make you look bad so the girls go back to her. Even some issues related to the trial. Kitka testifying and that putting the family in the crosshairs of the mobsters. Those are a bit general examples, but they can add drama to the story without being too dark. Simply having more things to tell beyond the relationship with the girls. Even those events can strengthen the relationships between the characters and make the family become stronger. They can be ways to move the relationships with the girls forward and not let them stagnate.

So something like luxee did in parental love? With ada and that pale troubled girl where he makes the perpetrator suck his cock, yeah, something like that would be cool but anything beyond that like things spiraling out of control for MC and LIs either get stollen or murdered by someone.

Something like the organization sends a hotty to screw you over but instead she gets screwed herself by MC, or like Ivana trying to make you bad in the eyes of the girls but eventually gives up and eventually falls for the MC herself because the girls can't stop saying that MC is good.

Lol this is the only type of drama you'd getting from this game.

I like the AVN/dev, but loathe Patreon with every fiber of my being. There are about five without. So let's not ruin one of the five by corrupting it with this nonsense when people can get that for a dime a dozen in every other title out there.

There are about five without. So let's not ruin one of the five by corrupting it with this nonsense when people can get that for a dime a dozen in every other title out there.

I'm trying to avoid the tropes that I kind of stumbled into. Without spoiling anything there will be some sort of conflict to help wrap everything up, but nothing overly drawn out.

Kinda agreed. In this particular game it doesn't really make any sense for some kind of a big drama plot. Manufacturing drama ends up being worse in the end than is its intention.
I disagree that there's lot of "darker" themed VNs though. Majority out here are relatively vanilla family relations. At the same time there is nothing wrong with slice of life. Unless it gets boring and goes into a boring, mindless fuckfest.

Nothing prevents from creating actual internal conflicts though. For example Kira being on fence when MC would start to touch Annie. Maybe dedicating an update or two to actually having Annie get used to being potentially another love interest. Having Kira get used to touching her own daughter etc.

Alternatively create jealousy around that. Where the girls feel like one side is getting too much attention and other isnt. So they try to compete for daddy's attention.
