Female or Male protagonist, what do you choose and why?

For me the MC is almost always male. The usual male and female relationship. I can't get into the "head" of the MC if its female. It does bother me, when I see some previews of the game and it looks good, but the MC isn't male, so I skip it. Its not like I'm against it, some games will have you control a female for a little bit, and its not much of an "issue". This is not a "begging" to change anything, just something personal to me.

Personally, i play both. For males i like both the typical alpha male stuff, conquering women and being in charge, but i also like the more caring approach with romance. For fem protagonist i almost always go for the corrupted giga-slut path tho.

Both - Fem for corruption games (sluttiest path of course), but otherwise male. The one thing about male protags is that they usually look like douchebags, lol.

Honestly I'm still looking for a game where the female protag is dominant all the way rather than only with other females.

Both are good, but female MC can be great when done well. I like having the ability to see the female’s MC thoughts as she becomes corrupted.

Male protagonist over everything. I wish i could play as a female MC, but i tried many times and can't get my head around being just... a male in a female body. I usually ended being a lesbian woman cause i don't want to have sex with another man, lol. Too bad for me, i'm sure i'm losing a lot of good games, but.. oh, well.

I'm not against playing female characters but I mostly play male\futa\trans protagonists just out of personal preference.

Maybe its some kink on my part, but I love to play female protagonist, especially if they are the mom's of a loli or shota and I have choices that help me make lewd or corrupting choices. If Blackheart Games ever made a game were I played as Lilith while she raised the twins I would be in heaven.

I've played both but for me to play a female protagonist game the story has to be very good to keep my attention and so far I just like two out of the games that I played with a female protagonist.

mostly male, imagining me in their shoes or pov. while i play females for either story or curiosity.

if female protagonist lesbian scenes are meh while the straight scene i imagine the male as the mc.

Personally I prefer Female MC, especially so if the game involves lots of corruption, I love pushing that ero boundary, from innocent village farmers girl that attend church to down bad slut that fucks even with dogs
