Silent Hill (the movie). It's not really scary, but it's just so eerily beautiful to me. The atmosphere is just right.

Alien, aliens, and the thing. I love the classic practical special affects from the movies that were so much more believable and realistic then much of the cgi stuff now a days. I love Sci fi horror best, but I do like most horror as a whole. I love creature features and slasher.

If talking about horror comedies, I would say Tucker and Dale vs Evil. I have watched that one probably more than any other "horror" or comedy film.

It took my sister and I literally 3 different attempts to watch the shining because after all of the build up we heard about it, she found it so boring, she kept falling a sleep during the movie. Finally the last time we watched it during the day instead of at night time. She hates the movie. Lol
