Army of Darkness and it is more of a comedy than horror if it has to be horror I guess Evil Dead II.

I'm not a scary movie fan, but I like Jamie Lee Curtis, so I'll go with the first Halloween movie. She was also good in Trading Places.

Martyrs (2008) and Rosemary's Baby (1968) are the two 10/10 horror movies on my imdb.

If you like older movies, Rosemary's Baby is perfect imo.

Martyrs is pretty graphic, so might not be for everyone.

House (1977) is what I always recommend for watching with friends. It's a japanese comedy horror (fwiw I'm generally not into comedy horror).

I think "saw" Series or "final destination" Was my favourite so far. These 2 films make me cannot sleep. And "Us" Become promising to watch

I like any horror film that is organic/original stuff that you go yeah that makes sense not all these new films that try & fail being copy cats or all the ip's being dragged out of there grave like finial destination.

The last halloween series/reboot is a good example started ok then just took a nose dive when the suit's took over.

So for me is pre 2018 horror films i say 18 sense there were some good ones int he 2010's also but again the more you go close to 2020 the more films become "modern"

The 4K of Alien was done right, the 4K of Aliens is an AI abomination. And had DNR applied to it. Ridley Scott respects film, James Cameron is enamored with cgi and technology.

I’d personally have to say that Hereditary is one of my favorites.

Although I’m not a big gore or brutality guy.
I’m far more interested in psychological horror and suspense.

But I do like Evil Dead 2012 so it’s not like I won’t watch bloody stuff.

Hereditary is a low-key masterpiece. A lot of people get it, they see that it's a good horror movie, but I don't think a lot of people truly understand just how good.

Although I’m not a fan of horror films, if I had to choose one, it would be Scary Movie (2000)
OK I'm I joking, if I had to choose one, it would be 10 Cloverfield Lane (2016), this film truly stands out to me. What makes it remarkable is how it builds tension through a minimalistic approach: a small cast, a claustrophobic setting, and a script that keeps the audience guessing. Unlike typical horror films that rely on jump scares, this movie uses psychological suspense and good performances.

Horror is my favorite genre. I can't pick just one. But I will say any movie that has a possibility of being true. i.e. Demonic Posession (forgive the spelling), Hauntings like the Conjuring Universe. I dabbled in wicca a bit and I have seen things that I never want to see again.

Rob Zombie's House of 1000 Corpses series and Texas Chainsaw Massacre II are up there because they try to make you laugh while the most heinous shit is happening.
