Every one should know by now if you see a

• NTR:

Tag you will have to accept it will have content heavily focused on it at some point. Especially as early stages of the game's development.

Which I'm about to start making a game with such content and it will make at least 50% of the game, as I find it more interesting.

Think of it this way, its like seeing:

• Harem:
  • Content that involves a single character with multiple romantic or sexual partners.
• Incest:
  • Sexual activity between family members or close relatives. This typically includes sexual activity between people in consanguinity (blood relations).
• MILF:
  • Sexual activity with an older woman or a woman who is a mother.

I keep away from any games with them 3 tags as you know it plots are all around the same stuff.... Way to boring and predictable, where 80-90% of them games have the MC banging his mother, 1-3 sisters and all the other family members unless I see

• NTR:
  • See Netori/Netorare.

I use to use Cheating tag to find games with more interesting plots but 80-90% of the time its the MC that's doing the cheating and not the people they are with when it comes to a male MC. But its the other way around when its a female MC...

Seems people consider cheating as a female cheating on the guy and not when a guy cheats on a female....

Play more game and take note of the tags before complaining of its content.....

I hope this game ends up with more then 50% NTR, but I doubt it will.... Comes down to the main people that are paying Royal Games to make this. If I was Royal Games I would be listening to them the most...

80% of a business income comes from 20% of your customers and that is a very important thing a game developer has to think about! Which I'll be listening to them 20% while making my game not not any forums or public comments as they are they one that are paying me to make the game. That will mean I will have to put aside my own wants of some things that I might want to do in my game as time goes on to keep them happy even if I don't want to put it in the game...

Anyway just food for thought.

I don't know why, but this update doesn't work with Joiplay, any version of the program or plugin.
I hadn't had any problems before.

Did you update the JoiPlay Ren'Py module from their Patreon page? The Google Play Store version is woefully out of date.

Wasting your money and time ? Are you a subscriber ? if not, then it's not wasting your money.
For one, updates will have a different amount of content per path in some updates, cos despite popular belief, other people play the game besides you, you think the dev has to just accomodate what you want ? no, there are other people who play the other path who are also subscribers.
Many games will have updates now and then that don't have the content I particularly want, but it's just something you have to deal with and wait for the next one.

We all have our preferences... I mean I agree that harem games are usually cookie cutter, IDC too much about harem as long as you can fuck all the LIs, without getting locked out of any. If you do get locked out I usually change the script so I can get all the characters in one playthrough. But all the critiques you said about harem I could also say about hard NTR games. The MC is usually either spineless or dumb, and the female characters are just as cookie cutter as harem games. Instead of falling all over the MC they either treat him like trash, or fall for a random asshole because he has a magic dick instead of the MC. Or the MC's bully from school or childhood meets the MC's mother and she abandons him. I don't see how any of those story lines are any more compelling than your typical harem fare.

Personally I prefer back before the scene got taken over by NTR haters and games had somewhere in between, like it wasn't cuck shit but the female characters weren't all hypnotized by magic MC dick. My favorite tags are incest, corruption, and any non-con tags (sleep sex, mind control, rape, blackmail, etc.), but I don't go around in games that don't have that stuff complaining about it, I just take what I can get or support things I like when I can.

The best example is NLT. He used to make comics that weren't harem but also weren't cuck stuff either, and it was incest focused but with other things too, including some light non-con and dub-con. But then he started making games and after the first one the harem andys got to him and now his games are basically the same boring generic story. To have a threesome he even magically cloned the MC... like seriously c'mon. But anyway I've liked how this game is going so far, it's not a cuck game and it would suck if it turned into a cuck game, but like I said earlier I like the stuff with Lily and Mateo but anyone else getting in that relationship would be pure cuck territory. Haven't played EP 6 yet but even if it goes far down that path hopefully Lily leans more toward the MC after Mateo corrupts her and she doesn't run off with him or something stupid like that. Either way I'll play both paths cuz I like to see how all possible routes go.

Also not sure why you're playing this game if you don't like incest. It's clearly the focus, it's even in the title and most of us here expect that at some point this game will be largely focused on the incest aspect even if it's only slowly building up to it now.

He is a subscriber to be fair. I mean it's understandable to be disappointed if a game called "Family Faring" doesn't have as much focus on family content as some people would like.

Fair enough, but anyway, moving forward NTR will be put on hold for some time anyway (unless there is any in the road trip), the Mateo path will be on hold until after they come back from the road trip at least.
However, people need to understand that not every update of every game will have the content you want, some will have something else, it's just the way it is.
There are a bazillion other games to play in the meantime between updates.

I agree that the comics like that and Y3DF or IncestChronicles3D or 3DFAMILYORGIES or PigKing are classic that VN games should go back to.... But I think the other issue it trying to stand out or out do what's out there... It's like the news always trying to out do its last story to grab the everyone's attention, as the saying goes no news is good news.... But with VN games there is so much competition and things already done that it's getting harder and harder to get peoples attention. Which causes then to go to the extremes to keep or get that attention to start with.

Family Faring, has one of the better plots and possibilities for future events and developments compared to many just incest based VN's thanks to the possible NTR. Also unlike many cuckold VN's its avoidable... Which I think there needs to be a cuckold tag for games as your said are CUCK and not NTR... People also forget NTR can just be phycological and doesn't need to be physical, in other words interhomolog of possible cheating.... Well that's the true Anime/Manga ways it is and where it originates from.... VN games have just destroyed its true origins....

Think to many games are now full on cuckoldery and not NTR, when tagged NTR. Which VN's with unavoidable NTR should get the cuckold tag..... As I will admit i also hate them type of VN's where the MC is weak or has no control. in a real life situation it would be divorce. Although I do have a laugh at how the creators try to justify what's happening lol, yet to find one that's realistic....

BTW if you want a great incest comic try finding Ella & David by Steve Strange.... It's almost impossible to find, came across it a few years ago and never found it again....

If people are subscribers and read the weekly news posts, they would know what's going to be in the update (the dev outlined what to expect in it), so it's on the subscriber if they don't bother to read them.

If so, what is the version of JoiPlay and the plug-in that you installed?

JoiPlay should be version 1.20.32 and the plug-in should be version 8.1.1_7.6.1_000.

Neither of these is listed as a beta release, so I don't know where you're getting your releases from, but it doesn't sound like you're getting it from the official Patreon page.
