Nah I don't think he was trolling. Even though I have some issues with this game and some of the dev's decisions, I think once we get to the family trip part we will get a lot of non cuck content.
The problem is that the dev got really scared when the westy stuff happened and now we have to wait until the remake reaches the same point in the story of the original.
Also it seems like it was good business decision, now that the game is on cuck95 there has been a substancial growth in subscribers.

Because it still requires re-rendering, and as like most of the devs he had some ideas to make it better, therefore while re-rendering the game, dev adds and removes some stuff. I don't think there is a dev who would not like to change things in their products. Some even give into temptation and do the changes, some re-renders, tweak the story etc. even some devs starts to create from the scratch, so there is nothing new in that regard.

Nope last update was August 11th which I cant see since I'm not subbed to him.

You are right but that kind of behaviour (historically speaking) also often leads to a dev losing interest and/or the game getting abandoned.

I really don't like to speculate on abandonment, but in this particular case, I think nobody really wanted this "remake" but the dev just got scared (which may well be justifyable). In this particular case, the remake probably won't be better than the original, but still people would like to see the continuation of the story. So in my opinion, that is what the dev should be doing: just rushing with the re-renders, and getting on with the story.

I have to say for all the bitching about the art changes, no one brings up that the tweens look much nicer now, before they look a bit like a troll/humane hybrids. too thin in places and there ribcage where just a bit long, now they look right.

Dev hid the progress bar behind a paywall. It is outdated but at least it gives us an idea. Seeing as this was updated August 9th Ill say and update should be soon.

This dev could've used this extremely long remake to rebalance the amount of content between the NTR and non-NTR paths, but instead stuck to his guns. I've stopped following honestly, as it's been well over a year since there's been any decent content between MC and his own daughters. In addition, the age up and his abandonment of his two prior games all leave a sour taste in my mouth. Just don't trust the guy anymore.

Yea I ranted a lot about that in the old thread. For the people that aren't interested in the NTR path there isn't really much right now for them to stick around. But to be fair, after episode 6 there is supposed to be no NTR for a long time.

I still have the "FamilyFaring-Episode5Part2-pc" and I really liked the Twister game with the dares... man that was so good. And now, here we are... heh

Don't give up now the next update is close to being released and after that we only have 1 more update for the remake.
Other than the heads looking too big in some scenes, I actually don't mind the changes. The big issue for me is that the people that aren't into NTR were the ones that got screwed the most with this remake.
