If there had been a thread saying that you were aware of the issue and working towards fixing it, I’d not have mentioned anything. Mistakes and bugs happen.

NO ONE knew this was going to happen.

I didn’t expect anyone to know about it beforehand, but I’d have liked to see a plan, or at least a message.

Hence the thread, to have a publicly accessible place to gather information on what is going on.

the problem is, P5 is a HUGE risk (hence the price), so we cannot let a mistake like that put us in a serious danger

Out of curiosity, is the conversion from gold to platinum coins 1gc=11pc?

They should be the same as the old gold coins, but this can change while we try to keep things fair for donors and users

I understand now... they should follow the same calculator for donations, but I can't confirm to you as I can't recall the old conversion with gold coins

I don't understand why people are worried. I personally did not initially plan to seek P5 status, I have P4, but I hardly ever use it. As I understood, there is no unique content there, except for the enthusiasts, but I am not one of them.
In general, it seems that access to the resource in the foreseeable future will become exclusively paid.

I think people are making too much fuss about it. You know who doesn't make mistakes? Someone who doesn't do anything at all.

Recently we had donation system revamped few times, adding two new types of coins, adding whole new prestige just so we can enjoy things, remaking whole "latest updates" section, fixed chat and making it available for everyone, new currency calculator, modified prices of ranks for activity coins, changed amount of coins you get for posts/likes, implementing massive dm system just because some people complained about too many forced threads, and now we have a thread about implementing more security to the site and auto deletion of dms after certain period of time. All of that are things I know about being just an average user, I am sure even more is going on behind the curtain. It is impossible to not fuck up something while doing so many changes.

And P5 issue? There was a massive dm sent to people about the problem. Since I responded to it Heisenberg gave me my rank back in literally 5 minutes. Another person who bought P5 yesterday and lost it soon after got his rank back in less than 30 minutes since he contacted Heisenberg, and I am sure everyone else who had P5 legitimately will have it back too.

Every issue I had was resolved quickly and in my favor. "Heisenberg, I donated 50$ for gold coin, can I have it - here you go, 1 minute later". "Heisenberg, I lost my P5, do I need to search my bank logs for proof? - Nah, you are fine, here you go, 5 minutes later". "Heisenberg, this calculator is broken, the amount is wrong, see? - Hmm, oh, I see the problem, fixed, few minutes later". "Tearson, my activity coins are somehow negative, btw you are piece of shit - Oh ok, here, now you have a lot more coins, also sorry for being piece of shit, it's just me as a being". "Guz, we are missing these fine games, can you upload them? - Sure, I will do it tomorrow (actually I will upload only one of them, one week later and break the archive in the process, but whatever)".

I think there is too much negativity about some of the problems, especially when I am yet to witness one case where someone gets fucked over by Heisenberg or other administration, and no, I don't consider losing P5 for 24h an unforgivable misstep. Everyone should chill.

Only the ones bought with "Gold Coins" had this issue
