He comes along, announces a remake of the game, disappears without a word of explanation, and now says he won't do anything with this story and will work on a different project instead? Nah, I'll pass; I have no intention of supporting a project other than the one originally announced. I wish DG luck with his project, but it’s stupid to try something different after announcing a remake and to go completely silent on top of that. It's a real shame about the DAZ models; they were really good.

So it is you after all...Yes, I developed a small game for the GameCube years ago...for the Dolphin emulator. Nothing big. It was just pictures and a little text, and the Zelda theme song played in the background. It was just a short novel, not a porn game. And also a kind of big game update for a Ren-Py game, otherwise just a lot of mods. For a game called Bitch Land, where I wrote 25 mods,it took me several months.I think it was 4 months of work. Or 5...Well, if I include the updates, it was maybe 7 or 8 months of work. Now I don't even know if I'm still healthy enough to put something that big together. The fact is that an average developer, especially a lolicon developer, earns practically no money. You risk getting permanently banned everywhere. This platform here and AC are the few that even allow this type of content. But I can confirm that a game is much more difficult than a mod. The worst and most difficult part remains the assets with good animations. In any case, I'm also considering doing something in this direction. But for that I need...

If I had the assets... I mean, I’d actually be interested in helping @Dark Games...Ketzal hasn't been online on f95 yet, and I haven't received a reply.

You already know that I use DAZ!!! I could give you the names of my base characters figures, but without my .duf files and mod files, plus the mods themselves and the assets that were used for add on's, all you would have in DAZ would be a block figure or a base figure from the base asset.

While disappointed, I will just say thank you to Dark Games for letting us know this has been cancelled. The worst part for people watching the development of any game title with excitement for a release is a sudden stop of any news and being left to speculation for months or even years as to whether it's even still being worked on.

I agree with this fully. Unlike some other people on here... I don't have an hatred or anger towards DG. Just incredibly sad that the expected news is now official. I really don't want this game to just die twice and cease to exist; so I hope the assets, scripts and such are sold again

if you read through the posts it wasn't until xXxLunaxXx started pressuring people to take his money as they've done on other occasions on the site & until they completely violated @Dark Games privacy by going behind their back & contacting Ketzal/Aldor about Dark Games personal matters that xXxLunaxXx had no business involving themselves in (and probably offering to pay / bribe to get the info they demanded)

if anything xXxLunaxXx is directly responsible for @Dark Games abandoning the game.

what do the mods/admins do in a situation such as this ??

xXxLunaxXx interfered in the future of this dev by going way, way too far, this is probably the top teir most anticipated release on the entire site in the last 10 months & xXxLunaxXx killed it in less than 48 hours.

mayby everyone that's following this thread can chime in on my observations & state if they see it the same way as I do (even though its as clear as day)

what xXxLunaxXx has done is very, very wrong & goes well beyond what normal humans do !!
(they are ultimately trying to hijack the models for themself)

Man fuck this. A simple “hey I’m not actually going to do this after getting everyone’s hopes up” still would have been disappointing, but also would have been way less infuriating if it came a LOT sooner instead of after months of radio silence.

Pointing fingers and playing blame game honestly doesn't serve any purpose for anyone. I agree with you on some things but at the same time it doesn't matter anymore. I think the best thing would be for the mods to lock this thread and put an abandoned/cancelled tag

Actually a couple of options have been thought of: The first was/is to just LOCK the thread The other is to leave it open and Thread Ban the offenders..

I started this thread as a courtesy to DG to discuss this here instead of the actual game thread that it all started in. All was well for a while up until it was taking a long time to here from DG. When everybody started with their speculation and theories it soon went off the rails... People really don't seem to know just how much time it takes to put a game together particularly if it is a one man operation. Things just don't happen over night in most cases. It takes an extraordinarily long time to arrange just one scene and the the time to render it then to just do it again after slight adjustment to the models and relocating them into another position in the same scene. It is repetitive and takes a lot of concentration which equates to TIME..

SO What will it be??? Which option should be applied...​

My guy if you're starting from scratch, cool. If you aren't using the girls, then share them. No point letting them rot. Let Luna or whoever try. I don't blame you, its hard to make stuff and its better to know than waiting for something that wont come.

He offered money. Offered. Contacting the FORMER developer is not a violation of privacy. I dont understand how you think it is. I spoke with Ketzal ages ago, asked similar questions about the models. Does that mean I violated Darks privacy too or Ketzals? No it obviously doesnt.
Darks message here implies he'd already decided to stop the games development or was considering it. Considering how the scene is in general I'm going to assume it was a convenient time to say the game was super dead.
Maybe its clear as day if you stare at the sun too long. Where I'm sat it looks like shitty timing.
