You’re implying that you spoke with Kezal as if he were involved in my project, even though he clearly told everyone that he would never again be involved in this kind of project.
He’s not involved in my project at all, but since rumors and fake news are rampant, I decided not to cause chaos and a mess for anybody.
You're trying to get the assets to use them with AI, etc... but that's not going to happen on my side. I don't know about him. Since you talked to him, he must have given you an answer. But as for me, I'm going to stay out of it and keep a very wide berth from anything related to him or his former games.

You had already decided not to continue developing it before I wrote that; I’m not part of the reason why. I simply said: "Don't hold me responsible for decisions you made before this message." Once again, I didn't imply anything. I only spoke to Ketzal regarding the models, and I spoke to you just to see how things stood with your project—and by then, you had already decided it was too much for you, that it wasn't your story, and that you didn't want to go on. That has nothing to do with me; there's no need to pin it on me.


But setting that aside—I understand it’s a lot of work, but do you really want to let your fans down now? Like I said, I’m offering money and help, or even to take it off your hands... if you want to give up, that’s entirely up to you... just don’t make me the reason for what you’re doing. Thanks.

I also said that Dark Games should be the one giving you the news... because I had been messaging you and received an update from you on the status of the project... No one said—and I certainly didn't say—that you were working with Ketzal... I even clarified that point, especially since everyone knows Ketzal never wants to have anything to do with "smol" characters again...On top of that, you had already decided long before this message not to continue; you said so yourself, and anyone can read that.

So, enlighten me: What's the purpose of this thread considering there wasn't even a release to my knowledge? And even if there were, it didn't advance the story further than the original so it's only taking up space (albeit a minimal amount) on the server

Seems to me all it will serve as at this point is rage bait central considering a promise was made (Remaking EGBE WITHOUT Ketzel) and never delivered upon even in the slightest... Nor was any warning given as to the "misinformation" nor the offenders, only what seems to be months of radio silence for you to return the moment you had a 'semi-passable' scapegoat which it turns out you read entirely too much into

Do you promise me that, as soon as he publishes something that isn't as good as Ketzal's workmyou guys won't swarm it like flies on shit? Because I feel sorry for him now; the thought of everyone pouncing on him the moment the work turns out not to be that great is pretty unpleasant.

Dark Games pledged to remake this game.

He posted pics, talked about his plans and got everyone all excited.

He pledged to drop the game at the beginning of the month.

Then he let everyone stew for a month while he sat back and watched, silent.

Nearly a month later he pops up saying, "Oh, by the way... PSYCHE! I'm not making the game anymore after all 'cause reasons!"

Make up your own minds whether you want to trust anything further from this guy.

Oh, and mods, time to flush this project, it seems.

Everything's going well; development is continuing.
There's a lot to do, and it's getting done. It just takes time. Unlike the previous developer, I don't work on it 8 hours a day, every day.
The game is very far along and I’m making good progress, but I can’t post frequent devlogs or updates because I also prefer to work in peace.
Believe me, things are moving forward, much faster than I’d like to admit. I don’t want to raise false hopes, so once again, I won’t give a release date, but things are coming along very well.

I would have liked to buy the models and everything else you got from him off you... but I'm sure a deal won't happen. But I also want to make it clear here that I don't have any plans. There won't be any developments or games coming from me.

While disappointed, I will just say thank you to Dark Games for letting us know this has been cancelled. The worst part for people watching the development of any game title with excitement for a release is a sudden stop of any news and being left to speculation for months or even years as to whether it's even still being worked on.
