It would be almost impossible for someone else to revive this game without having the character assets and I doubt that Ketzal would just give them away. I am also not a big fan of people taking over projects. The games never feel the same. I think there is a good chance that Ketzal will rework this in the future. So I would rather wait for that.

Yea, people don't seem to value the artistry behind work like this. Personally, I know I wouldn't care about VNs if they were just basically slideshows/image sets. Those already exist, feel free to consume them if that's all that you're after. An artist's voice, narrative ability, and framing all come through in a work like this. I guess that's how so many people are OK with consuming AI slop. The syntax they use alone is enough to make my hairs stand on end. Ketzal has a unique storytelling style that would be obviously missing from anyone attempting to ape his work.

The visuals for his games are always incredible but for me it's the writing that makes the games be so good and that would be impossible to replicate. I would rather have the game be dead forever than having someone completely bastardize his work.

Dev has all of the rights in the world to abandon the project, turn it into a gay, senior-citizen harem game, make it sandbox, add annoying mini-games, add and/or remove NTR or anything they want. They might even blur the lines between futa and trans characters. Devs should make the games they want to make, stop making them when it no longer appeals to them, return to making them if they change their mind, and we should find the games where our interests line up with the devs. With that said, I don't think you should consider this abandoned forever. IYKYK.

no one asked you to comment on my style of emphasis. i was stating purely that this game doesn't deserve to be abandonned, it has great art, great plot, great pacing, it just needs great dedication and love to get finished.

If it's abandoned or on hold, only the author knows for sure; everything else is speculation. And besides, as you know, people like to argue about everything. The best thing is to take it philosophically and have a laugh. Of course, they shouldn't disrespect you either, but hey, people love a good argument to throw out their ironies, jokes, funny remarks, etc.
