How about the story? Do you have most of the original creator’s plan for how it was supposed to unfold, or will you be creating a new version inspired by it? Also, once you’re done with this one, do you plan to do the same for SSP so it can get some closure?

He doesn't want anyone to touch SSP, so I won't touch it. I respect his wishes. Anyway, I don't really like it.
I have the complete story for EGBE, well, what he had planned to do, and I’m going to make some changes, but they’ll be minor. I’m keeping what’s already been published in terms of story. The changes are mostly long-term and won’t be noticeable to those who are already familiar with the game.

I'm currently remaking this game, yes, using the assets and with the permission of its creator.

The story stays exactly the same. I'm using the same script. I make slight adjustments to some models, but nothing too drastic or out of line with the main theme, which is loli, harem, and corruption.
Nothing weird like you mentioned will be added.
Monetize? I don't know, why not, but not for now.

I work on the game every day, and I'm making good progress. The first three scenes are finished.
Once I release something, and if people like my work and want to see more, then I’ll share my progress, updates, and more in certain places, but of course discreetly and no images of the girls.

I would say POTENTIALLY the best one is coming back. I don't think you can say defintively it was the best on the little content it had at the time of death. But I agree with your excitement!
